The Bay Citizen has posted some nice sketches of wounded sea lion Silent Knight by artist Tammy Stellanova.

The seven-foot sea lion had been shot in the head when found on a Sausalito beach in December. He was treated and is recuperating at the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito, but is now completely blind. The center says it's now "searching diligently for a zoo or aquarium that can take him into their care," as he cannot be released back into the wild.

You can donate funds that the center says will go directly to Silent Knight's care here.
