Heavy rain is on its way, or so says the National Weather Service, which has issued a series of advisories for the Bay Area:

Marin, Napa, Sonoma: flash flood watch and wind advisory
Solano: flood watch, high wind watch, special weather statement
Entire Bay Area: wind advisory
Sacramento: flood watch, high wind watch, special weather statement
