Some photos from the launch last night of the Lights On Market Street installation, from the San Francisco Arts Commission's Photo Stream.

The project entails San Francisco artist Jim Campbell suspending what the Chronicle calls "curtains of 2,000 LED light pixels projecting moving images of pedestrians and traffic" that will "fill the vacant storefront windows."
