  • SFist put together a list of who's endorsing and who's opposing San Francisco's controversial Sit/Lie proposition, which would would ban sitting or lying on sidewalks from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.The yeses includes Gavin Newsom, Dianne Feinstein; the SF Young Republicans (that should help), and supervisors Alioto-Pier, Chu, and Elsbernd. Among the nos: Tom Ammiano, Mark Leno, and supervisors Campos, Chiu, Dufty, Mar, Maxwell, and Daly. Oh--the Sit/Lie Posse doesn't like it either.
  • The San Jose Blog tips us off that Nissan will show off their fully electric LEAF car at the Almaden/Woz Way Parking Lot Oct 29-31. If you're interested in taking the LEAF on a little spin, sign up here.
  • If Proposition 19 passes and marijuana is fully legalized, will that render the black market in the drug obsolete? California Watch's blog examines the possiblity. Growers, at least, think they'll still be in business, unless the entire country legalizes, the post reports.
  • If you think Giants' fans were raucous last night, check out this video from Haighteration, capturing the euphoria/hysteria/demonic possession of the crowd at Nickies bar on Haight Street just after Brian Wilson struck out Ryan Howard to win the NLCS Saturday. Not to date myself, but I haven't heard that much cheering since Lucky Lindy landed in Paris.
