Donations are needed for the Carr Fire and Mendocino Complex Fires.  (Audrey Garces/KQED)

Whether it's donating money or other resources, here are some ways to help those impacted by the wildfires in Shasta, Mendocino and Lake counties.

NOTE: This not an exhaustive list. If you are interested in making a donation, make sure to call the location before dropping off donations and check social media accounts for updates on needs and capacity. This list will be updated.

  • Salvation Army on 2691 Larkspur Lane, Redding (will only accept new items). Needs: pillows, blankets, water, sports drinks, cleaning supplies (paper towels, bleach), shirts, socks and underwear
  • Haven Humane Society on 7449 Eastside Road, Anderson. Needs: wire crates of all sizes, litter pans (including alternate containers that work), hay, temporary fencing or fencing contractors
  • Red Bluff Vineyard Church at 738 Walnut St, Red Bluff. Needs: toiletries, diapers, baby wipes, food, water, cots, pillows and bedding, gift cards (gas, food, groceries)

  • The Red Cross has all the supplies it needs at this time. Previous financial donations allowed them to prestock disaster items.
