Elon Musk unveiled more this week about plans for his Boring Company to develop an underground transportation system in Los Angeles.

Just don't call it a "subway."

It might be a hyperloop system of pods, Tesla-carrying sleds or some other high-speed space-age conveyance.

Boring Company has already bored a 2-mile long tunnel in Hawthorne and Thursday announced a "partnership" with Los Angeles Metro.
