A Tesla driver was cruising in autopilot mode while looking at her phone when she rear-ended a Utah fire truck at 60 mph.

According to police, the Tesla Model S did not brake before crashing into the back of the fire maintenance vehicle, which was stopped at a red light.

Tesla co-founder Elon Musk touted the fact that the driver of the Tesla "only broke an ankle."
