With protesters in the streets after Sacramento police killed an unarmed black man, the California attorney general's office has joined an investigation into the shooting.

Two Sacramento police officers fatally shot Stephon Clark in his grandmother's backyard, firing 20 rounds at the unarmed 22-year-old man.

Police body camera footage captured the shooting, but the last two minutes of the video are silent after one officer says "hey, mute?" to another.
