Yesterday's KQED Forum program focused on California's two main governor candidates perspective on where the state's education is heading. Guests were Bill Evers, research fellow at the Hoover Institution, former U.S. assistant secretary of education for planning, evaluation and policy development and an adviser to the Whitman campaign and Michael Kirst, professor emeritus of education and business administration at Stanford University, former president of the California State Board of Education and an adviser to the Brown campaign.
