The Department of Education is working with Learning Point Associates to create an online community that uses social media to connect teachers to one other, said Karen Cator, Director of Education Technology at the DOE.
The idea is to create a central repository for educators to learn the best tech tools in the trade from each other and to communicate.
More information to come, Cator said, but she could not elaborate further.
