This weekend, for the first time, there will be metal detectors at all entry points to San Francisco’s Pride celebration. This comes as a result of increased security concerns after 49 people were shot at a gay nightclub in Orlando earlier this month. We’ll talk with members of the Bay Area LGBT community about this year’s Pride events and the impact the Orlando mass shooting is having on them.
