Bay Area Reacts to Orlando Mass Shootings, the Worst in Modern U.S. History

Thousands gathered in San Francisco’s Castro District last night at a vigil for the victims of the deadly mass shooting in Orlando on Sunday. It was the worst in the nation’s modern history.  49 people were killed an another 53 injured early Sunday by a gunman who opened fire in a gay nightclub. Prior to the attack, the gunman phoned 911 and swore his allegiance to the Islamic State. We’ll bring you the latest news and hear reactions from the local LGBT community and Muslim communities.
