Muscle twitches that come out of nowhere; facial tics that are impossible to hide; uncontrollable urges to shout — these are some of the symptoms that people with Tourette syndrome experience.
Educational campaigns have increased public awareness about the disorder, but many misconceptions persist. We’ll hear from a performance artist, a memoirist and a high school student who live with Tourette syndrome and discuss the latest research on the condition.
