Based on the bestselling 2010 novel of same name, the movie “Room” tells the story of a mother and young son held captive in a garden shed and deals with themes of parental love and childhood innocence. The film is garnering critical praise, especially for young actor Jacob Tremblay’s performance. Director Lenny Abrahamson joins us to discuss “Room,” why he was drawn to Emma Donoghue’s book and the challenges of filming in a 150-square foot space.
