A group called Parents and Pros for Safer Soccer wants to disallow headers in youth soccer until age 14. They’re concerned about the long-term effects of repeated hammering of the brain from the force of a ball. We’ll discuss what we know about soccer headers and kids and whether there’s enough scientific evidence that they pose a serious neurological threat.
