A new study reveals previously unknown genetic links between five psychiatric illnesses, including schizophrenia and ADHD. Scientists say the discovery could lead to new treatments, and affect how the diseases are classified.

If they discovered that the increasingly well-known psychopathy of high achievers like CEOs were caused by genetic disorders, would that mean that for instance the powerful crooks who run Wall Street banks should receive our sympathy despite their numerous past wrongs and ongoing crime spree? I think not. Genes may explain behavior, but the trendiness of the explanation ought not dupe us into excusing villians. Speaking of genes, if they manage to isolate a bankster gene, perhaps anyone found to be possessing it could be barred from employment at banks.

      Leo,
Having worked closely with those you describe as “banksters”, and subsequently with schizophrenic patients at a major teaching hospital, let me try to explain what you are missing.
Schizoids are statistically less likely to commit violent acts than the general population, but because they are easily bullied, they can be treated oh, just about any which way by sadistic nurses once restrained.
Banksters, on the other hand, look just like normal people, and their low incidence of violent behavior is largely due to the fact that they are rarely – if ever – prosecuted.
We must therefore continue to obsess over the largely non-violent population of schizophrenics, justifying any manner of brutality enacted against them by police or hospitals. Banksters we must continue to coddle. That is why, when the Obama administration had the banks on their backs with their bellies up, they chose not to hog-tie them, as one might have expected, but to fellate them.
      Got it?

Thucy, è capito but let me explain what you may be missing.

Banksters engage in economic violence against society, as when they demanded $700 billion and ended up getting many trillions, or when they enslaved Greece etc. Their abuses like extortion and “threatening to blow up the economic system” as some call it may not involve breaking legs, but many lives, families, careers and in fact entire nations like Greece and Ireland have been broken by banksters’ conquest of the markets and political systems of the world. That is not normal human behavior. It’s psychopathy. They appear normal when they’re in line at Whole Foods, but their actions at work are not normal.

At times it comes out as a burst of mania, as when this central bankster ran down tens of people in Brazil with his car in broad daylight because they were making him late to a meeting:

When the bankster Lloyd Blankfein of Goldman said he was “doing God’s work”, given that his job involves threatening to destroy economies, some likened him to a suicide bomber. Is there a gene for that? Hmm.

Obama never had the banks hogtied, nay it was the other way around from day 1 since Obama was always in their pocket. Therefore Obama fellioted them as you say, for he is their manwhöre extraordinaire cüm laude, & an Uncle Tom par excellence with whip cream on top.

Banksters engage in economic violence against society, as when they demanded $700 billion and ended up getting many trillions, or when they enslaved Greece etc. Their abuses like extortion and their de facto “threatening to blow up the economic system” may not involve breaking legs, but many lives, families, careers and in fact entire nations like Greece and Ireland have been broken by banksters’ exploits. Yes they appear normal when they’re in line at Whole Foods, but their actions at work are psychopathic: They are white-shoe mafiosi.

How does Pres. Obama’s effort to map the brain help with solving these issues regarding genetics and the linked diseases?
