Novelist, memoirist and short story writer Leo Litwak is a longtime literary figure in the Bay Area, and has taught English at San Francisco State for 30 years. So it may come as a surprise that he’s actually a native of Detroit. Fittingly, his new book “Home for Sale” is set in that city in the 1950s, right before the real estate crash.

We talk with Litwak about the book, which some say might have autobiographical undertones.

Guests:

Leo Litwak, writer and former San Francisco State University English professor
