In his new book “The Crisis of Zionism,” Peter Beinart describes the tension between support of Israel and moral opposition to some of the country’s policies. Beinart denounces certain pro-Israel lobbies, argues against the occupation of Gaza and the West Bank and advocates for a Palestinian state. He joins us to discuss his views about Israel’s future and the role of American Jews in U.S.-Israeli relations.

Guests:

Peter Beinart, author, senior fellow at the New America Foundation, associate professor of journalism and political science at the City University of New York and senior political writer for The Daily Beast
