ABC announced Tuesday that it would cancel its hit revival “Roseanne” after its star, Roseanne Barr, made racist comments on Twitter about former Obama advisor Valerie Jarrett. In a now-deleted tweet, Barr likened Jarrett, who is African-American, to an ape and suggested she is associated with the Muslim Brotherhood. Hulu and Viacom also announced Tuesday that they will cease to air reruns of the series. We’ll discuss the incident and its implications.
