Education officials in San Jose are facing drastic budget cuts from the state, and are having to choose between restoring K-12 education days and drastically cutting adult education classes. Adult education advocates say slashing GED and English language classes will be unproductive at best, and disastrous at worst. The same threat exists in school districts across the state. We discuss the status of adult education in California.
