A federal judge on Tuesday ordered the military to stop enforcing the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy which, at least temporarily, puts an end to the ban on openly gay soldiers. Justice Department officials say they’re reviewing the ruling. They have two months to appeal. We discuss the impact of the decision, and what’s likely to happen next.
