Locally owned and operated Anchor Steam Brewing Company has survived the California Gold Rush, the 1906 earthquake and Prohibition. Fritz Maytag bought Anchor Steam in 1965, developed a distillery and helped launch the microbrew movement. He joins us along with the brewery’s new owner.
