Yawen Zheng

Yawen Zheng is an M.F.A. animation student at USC’s School of Cinematic Arts. She primarily concentrates on 2D animation and illustration, but continues to expand into different mediums and styles, with the goal of expressing peaceful and positive energy to this world through her animation. Yawen also holds a B.A. in animation from Communication University of China in Beijing. Her undergraduate thesis film, The Song for Rain, played at festivals all over the world and won an award for Production Design at the 2013 Animation Academy Awards in China.
