Rob Richert

Rob Richert is a filmmaker completing his MFA in directing at Columbia University. In this program, he finished his short film No One But Lydia (shot in Berkeley, California) and will be shooting his final short Solid Ground at Columbia University on August 2013.

Rob has worked in post-production in New York City as an assistant editor for Geoff Richman on a Margaret Brown documentary and as the VFX artist for Ramin Bahrani’s film At Any Price. Rob’s efforts as a colorist have screened in a number of festivals including SXSW, Palm Springs, the LA Comedy Fest, San Diego, Austin, New Orleans and Florida Film Festival.

His film My Name Is Your First Love won best short at Napa Valley Film Festival and San Francisco Indie Film Fest.
