John Cody Kim

John Cody Kim was born in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to British Columbia, Canada as a child. During his high school years, he enrolled as a visual art and drama major at the Langley Fine Arts school. His interest in animation grew out of wondering how artists created films like Nick Park’s Wallace and Gromit and Studio Ghibli’s animation. He is currently attending California Institute of the Arts, enrolled in character animation.
