Last week, PBS NewsHour Extra partnered with Google to offer students the #MyZeitgeist Challenge, an opportunity to create their own Zeitgeist by compiling the events that have made the biggest impact on their lives using the storytelling tool Meograph. As part of this effort, KQED Do Now presented the question What events of the year have made the largest impact on your life? What events of 2013 will we still be talking about in five years? in the #DoNowZeitgeist post.
Below, you will see a link to a post that highlights the winner of the #MyZeitgeist competition, an excellent Meograph by Heneeya Myrick, a seventh grade student at St. Paul City School in St. Paul, Minn. She is the secretary of her school’s student council and wants to be a musician when she is older. Also included in the post are some insightful tweets from the Do Now Community! You can also see the two runners up of the competition on PBS NewsHour Extra. Enjoy!
