“Whiteboard Markers and the Havoc They Reek” is a video lab report and investigation of the air quality hazards created by dry erase markers. Two brands of marker were tested for off-gassing of Xylene, Butanol and Methyl Isobutyl Ketone.
This video includes background information about dry erase markers, how the experiments were performed, analysis of the data and recommendations for the public based on the findings.
This film was shown at the KQED Science Youth Media Festival in 2012.
