Leslie SbroccoMy name is Leslie Sbrocco and I'm the host of Check, Please! Bay Area. Each week, I will be sharing my tasting notes about the wine the guests and I drank on set during the taping of the show.

Wines of the Week: KQED Wine Club
Our guests enjoyed some of these delicious offerings from the KQED Wine Club.

2007 337 Cabernet Sauvignon, Lodi California
Named for a clone of the Cabernet Sauvignon grape variety with roots in Bordeaux, France, this structured yet still fruity Cab is a steal of a deal.

2008 Tudal Family Winery Chardonnay, Los Carneros, Napa, California
A historic Napa Valley producer that you might not know about but should, Tudal is crafting wines with the winning combination of power and finesse. This limited-production Chardonnay from the cool Carneros region is crisp and bright but still offers a mouthful of ripe fruit flavors.
