Leslie SbroccoMy name is Leslie Sbrocco and I’m the host of Check, Please! Bay Area. Each week, I will be sharing my tasting notes about the wine the guests and I drank on set during the taping of the show.

Wines of the Week: KQED Wine Club
Our guests enjoyed some of these delicious offerings from the KQED Wine Club.

2008 Loredona Viognier Lodi California
Loredona has a focus on Anything But Chardonnay, and their spicy, lush Viognier (pronounced Vee-own-yeah) is an alternative you’ll enjoy. Pair with curry dishes, swordfish with mango salsa or pasta smothered in creamy sauces.

2007 Irony Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley California
With a price to please (about $15), this Cabernet captures the intensity and complexity of a wine with a much higher tag. Stock up for your cellar, for parties, or just as an everyday house wine.

Please tell me how I can post a review for a restaurant in here.

    Thank you

I listened to your show last night and want to make a comment about your last review (strangely not yet online).
I’m intrigued by Zazi in Cole Valley. You described this as a French bistro several times but your guest related to their experience there as what it seems to be more Italian cuisine (polenta, ravioli and gelato). A suggestion I would offer is having on your show one guest with credentials in European cuisine.
