Lahore Karahi: Restaurant Info 26 June,2012Wendy Goodfriend

Yes, well, Sam’s and Tadich’s, what can we say?
The fish is okay for the price, but it could be
    prepared better (wood fired grill?)
The sides are execrable and should be better.
The salads, well pesticide laden iceberg lettuce
might have been okay in 1926, but not now.
For a pure quality/cost computation, the
recently featured bowling alley hotdog may fare better.
We hear that Michael Minna (Minne? whatever) is
reopening the spot next to Tadich’s. Whatever.

Just watched your program. Anyone who doesn’t love Sam’s is missing the point of eating.
We love to go there for any special occasion.
Pea soup, Rex sole, the great french bread and the the lemon crepe – a bit of heaven!!!!
