Leslie SbroccoMy name is Leslie Sbrocco and I'm the host of Check, Please! Bay Area. Each week, I will be sharing my tasting notes about the wine the guests and I drank on set during the taping of the show.

Wines of the Week: KQED Wine Club
Our guests enjoyed these two delicious offerings from the KQED Wine Club.

2007 Bodega Lurton Pinot Gris, Valley de Uco, Mendoza, Argentina
Made from grapes planted high above Mendoza in the Valle de Uco, this lush, rich style of Pinot Gris is produced at the Argentinean outpost of France's famous Lurton family.

2004 Chateau Recougne, Bordeaux Superieur, France
Earthy flavors dominate this muscular wine. It’s a big red for those who crave a steak on the grill.
