Everett & Jones BBQ: Restaurant Info 21 July,2015Check, Please! Bay Area

I’m from San Francisco and I’ve been living in Atlanta Ga for eight years. I MISS YOUR LINKS!!! Please let me know if you all can ship major orders to me in Atlanta GA. What are my options to getting food from you? Double “R”

  • Tina

This seems like one of the better maintained Everett and Jones. I live in Berkeley, and I’d describe it as a little hole-in-the-wall, if it weren’t a little shack in a parking lot. However, my family loves it – they serve up some terrific food.

  • Dandridge Bailey

I have a friend that moved back to Kansas City, Mo., in 1999, his statement to me recently was that the ONLY thing he really misses about California is the Everett and Jones Links. There’s nothing like them in KC. Is there any way that I could have some of your Links shipped to him.

Best BBQ around, especially since Flints changed owners 2 years ago.

  • TBerk

Traditionally, BBQ places here in the Bay Area, but esp Oakland and Berkeley, HAVE been ‘hole in the wall’ type places.

The Everett & Jones place in Jack London Square is a decidedly nice step up; providing an appropriate dining experience for the area in which it is set.

These guys, along with some competition (Flints!) have, in the past anyway, concentrated less on the ambiance and more on the flavour. The traditional model has been Restaurant Dining Room = (take it home to) your Living Room.

In any case, the episode of Check Please! Bay Area that E&J show up in is my favorite, (Puddin!) It is the one I introduce unsuspecting viwers to the series with.

Good-on-ya to Everett & Jones Barbeque for getting some regional if not national exposure.

I just flew in from Philly and happened to come across Everett and Jones, and I must say I’m highly disappointed!!! Albeit it was a Wednesday at 4:00pm the food was cold and the service colder! I mean even in Philly where BBQ isn’t a big tradition I much prefer my hometown food. Please don’t take offense I’m just being honest.

  • Caribbean Queen

    Horrible Bar-B-Que and service!
