"Around the World" is the theme for this episode which combines restaurants from previous Check, Please! Bay Area shows to highlight local restaurants serving up diverse regional cuisines.

The chefs at the first spot spend as much time in the garden as they do in the kitchen, making every Middle-Eastern plate special at Zatar in Berkeley. The second destination in Albany boasts piquant provisions not for the faint of heart at Szechwan-inspired restaurant China Village. Finally, generous portions are served up at San Francisco’s Walzwerk, where schnitzel and strudel samplings are superior at this German eatery.

If you would like to watch this season 10 episode (#1010) on television, it airs Thursday, May 14 at 7:30pm on KQED 9. See other television airtimes.
