Into The Mix

Soundbreaking_600x600_V6 Welcome to Into The Mix, a new feature from KQED Arts that focuses on the recording industry in the Bay Area, both in the present and the past. Inspired by the new documentary series Soundbreaking: Stories From The Cutting Edge Of Recorded Music, we wanted to dig deeper into the studios, schools and legends in our local music scenes. Through our reporting, we'll introduce you to the local producers that were the unsung heroes behind your favorite recordings and the places where those bands made magic happen. This is also the home base for news about Soundbreaking: Stories From The Cutting Edge Of Recorded Music. Episodes will air weeknights at 10pm, November 14-23, on KQED 9, and we will post additional broadcasts and other information in this series. [http_redir]
