The indie rock band that helped resuscitate the New York music scene in the early aughts recently with the classic album, Turn On The Bright Lights, is about to release its fifth record. The upcoming album, El Pintor, is the band’s first since 2010. The album’s lead single, “All The Rage Back Home,” hit No. 1 on Billboard’s Twitter chart.

The band will be playing tonight in Los Angeles will begin streaming on NPR Music at approximately at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT). The band will play songs from El Pintor (out Sept. 9) in public for the first time.

The band is also streaming their new album on on NPR Music.
