Internship Program Description
KQED is excited to offer a robust internship program. This program provides an opportunity for individuals with a passion for public media to gain valuable on-the-job exposure to areas of our business that support the KQED mission, goals and objectives. We currently offer two internship sessions:
Session 1: Begins in January and ends in June.
Session 2: Begins in June and ends in December.
The purpose of both of these sessions is to provide individuals with opportunities to learn and experience elements of the broadcast communications industry. Individuals who participate in our program will have the opportunity to make valuable contributions to our organization.
16 hours per week are recommended (2 – 8 hour days)
Most schedules are flexible.
KQED tries to parallel both quarter and semester systems.
